I was born and raised in LaCrosse Wisconsin and graduated with a BS in Zoology (1991) and DVM (1995) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. GO BADGERS!
I practiced small animal medicine in Seattle Washington and Bozeman Montana prior to moving to the Phoenix area where I helped open Goodyear Animal Hospital in August 2004. We have since grown into a thriving 9 doctor practice that has experience in all facets of small animal medicine and surgery. My special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, feline medicine and senior animal care.
My family (husband and 2 kids) is active in swimming and art. I love to read, run with Pumpkin, hang out with my kids and cheer them on during their activities. To round out our family, we have 3 dogs (Doodles, Jake & Pumpkin) and 5 cats. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Dr. Tyler Elliott
I was raised in two very small towns in California and Nevada, moving between my family’s cattle ranches every six months until I moved away for college. I attended the University of Nevada Reno where I received a B.S. in Animal Science, followed by attending Washington State University for veterinary school.
Following veterinary school, I was able to complete two rotational year-long internships in equine medicine; the first in Bonsall, California, and the second at Kansas State University. My interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and pain management.
Currently, I don’t have any animals here in Phoenix, but I do have a horse, Apache, who is enjoying his best life back in Nevada/California with the rest of the family herd. Outside of work I enjoy hitting the gym, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traveling with my wife, fishing, and helping with ranch work when I can get back home.

I grew up in Providence, RI and although AZ is my new home, the Ocean State will always have my heart. I received my B.S. in Biology (2015) and Master’s in Public Affairs (2018) from Merrimack College (Go Warriors!) in North Andover, MA. I recently graduated with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University here in Glendale, AZ.
My love for this field was solidified at 16 when I began volunteering at a local shelter. I continued to work as a technician at a few veterinary hospitals throughout undergrad, graduate school, and veterinary school. My professional interests include ultrasound, surgery, dermatology, and exotics.
In my free time, I like to go hiking all around this beautiful state, read crime and mystery novels, cook, and watch sports – baseball, soccer, and hockey. I have 3 family dogs back in RI that I miss a lot, but my mom sends me pictures of them all the time. I don’t have any pets here just yet, but I plan on adopting one in the near future. As a new member of the AZPetVet Family, I am excited to provide the upmost care for your pets and create a strong and lasting relationship with you!

Dr. Zack Reynolds
I was born in Southwestern Idaho and spent my days growing up on my family’s cattle ranch. I attended the University of Idaho for my undergraduate BS in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Sciences and then went 8 miles across the border for veterinary school and my DVM at Washington State University. I worked in a variety of veterinary clinics during my undergraduate and veterinary education and also had opportunities to complete public health work.
I love the gorgeous forests and mountains of the Northwest but I’m excited for the change of scenery and to begin exploring the beautiful desert landscape of Arizona! My partner and I are already planning different hikes and road trips and I’m always happy to hear about hidden gems or new recommendations of places you love! I don’t have any pets in Phoenix yet but we’re planning to expand soon. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Dr. Amanda Christopherson
I am originally from a small city in Texas, and received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016. While attending undergrad, I worked as a veterinary technician and volunteered at the zoo. I graduated from veterinary school at Midwestern University, which unlike its name would have you believe, is actually located here in Glendale, AZ. After completing my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree I couldn't bring myself to leave the scorching heat of the Phoenix area – I love it! My professional interests include dentistry and surgery.
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, traveling, binge-watching the newest shows on Netflix, and finding new friends and adventures for my furry little monster of a golden retriever, Tucker. I am so excited to be a new member of the AZPetVet Family and I cannot wait to meet you and your fur babies!

Dr. Giovanna Guzmán
I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in a town called Manati, where I would spend most of my free time at the beach. I attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, where I received my B.S. in Animal Science and later on moved to the states to attend Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine.
I started volunteering/working as a tech in veterinary hospitals when I was 15 years old and all throughout undergrad and vet school. My fields of interest are surgery, specifically orthopedics, and exotics like small furries and reptiles!
In my free time, I like to go camping, be crafty and being lazy with my family. Right now I have a tiny zoo that consists of two dogs, three cats, two red-ear sliders and a ball python. I’m very excited to join the Goodyear family and look forward to meeting you and your adorable pets!

Dr. Lauren Allison
I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and stayed in state while attending Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University, and I am so happy to stay right here at home in Arizona with AZPetVet!
Prior to school, I volunteered with dog and cat rescues to prepare for my career in veterinary medicine. Throughout my career I have worked as an animal care technician at a shelter, a veterinary assistant, and have logged over 1,000 hours of volunteer experience on a mobile veterinary clinic that provided free spay/neuter and free medical care to underserved populations.
Outside of the office I enjoy reading, cooking, exploring craft beers, and playing video games! My husband and I have 8 dogs: Nugget the chihuahua, Pixel the dachshund mix, Ember the terrier, Gizmo the Pekingese, Lilo the lab mix, Zuma the lab/newfoundland mix, Kona the labradoodle, and Kesari the English mastiff. I also have two cats, Nomi and Monsoon, two tortoises Petri and Littlefoot, and a mini pig named Zuri!
