I was born and raised in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and graduated with a BS in Zoology (1991) and DVM (1995) from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. GO BADGERS!
I practiced small animal medicine in Seattle, Washington and Bozeman, Montana prior to moving to the Phoenix area, where I helped open Goodyear Animal Hospital in August of 2004. We have since grown into a thriving 5 doctor practice that has experience in all facets of small animal medicine and surgery. My special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, feline medicine and senior animal care.
My family (husband and 2 kids) is active in soccer, dance, baseball and art. They also love swimming and riding bikes. Personally, I have become a boot camp regular at Lifetime Fitness and will be competing in my first (and hopefully not last) "mud run" this winter. To round out our family, we have 1 dog (Sierra), 4 cats, (Yukon Cornelius, Watermelon Kitty Kitty, Kiwi and Kitkat) a rabbit (named Fluffy) and 2 hermit crabs. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Dr. Kelsey Ledbetter
I was and raised in Peoria, Arizona – in fact, I am a member of one of Arizona’s Founding Families – my ancestors moved West before Arizona was a recognized
state. I started working as a Kennel Tech in high school, and shadowed a number of vets during my time in college to learn as I worked.
I did my undergraduate degree at University of Arizona, graduating in 2013. I attended Veterinary school at Oklahoma State, graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. My areas of specific interest are Dentistry and Chiropractic for animals.
My husband and I have two horses, Mandy and Splash, and two dogs, Pixie and Roux. My hobbies are horses, horses, horses! I regularly compete in the three-day events, which are the triathlons of the equine world. They’re challenging and lots of fun.
As a new member of the AZ Pet Vet family, I’m looking forward to getting to know our pet patients. See you at Goodyear!

Although I was born in Boulder, CO, I've lived in Arizona most of my life. I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Arizona in 2004 (Go Wildcats!)
and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in May of 2008. During my time in Colorado I realized I missed Arizona and wanted
to return here to practice veterinary medicine. My professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology and soft tissue surgery.
In my spare time I enjoy participating in triathlons, watching live music, and traveling with my husband, Andrew. In 2014 we welcomed our first
2 legged addition, Beckett Anthony, and my 4 legged family includes my Border Collie mix Dixie, a scruffy Terrier mix named Sophie, a Heeler mix Holly,
and a Ragdoll cat named Tula. I look forward to caring for your four-legged family soon!
Dr. Rebecca Johnson
Dr. Rebecca Johnson graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts in 2007. She grew up in Rochester, NY, and in 2000, received her BA in Art History and Psychology from Rice University in Houston, TX. After spending many long, dark winters in the northeast, Dr. Johnson and her husband decided that they had shoveled themselves out of their last blizzard and set their sights on warmer climates. They both enjoy hiking and outdoor sports, and they are excited to explore Phoenix and the surrounding areas. At home, Dr. Johnson spends her free time reading, cooking, and reading about cooking. She and her husband live with two adorable mutts, Sparkle and Wrigley, whose favorite activities include sleeping on the couch and protecting the house from rogue squirrels.
